Default Highlighting problem

I'm using 2007 in the 2003 format. Sometimes when I try to highlight one box,
the 2 boxes below get highlighted and I cannot turn this off. Is this a
"feature" I accidentally turned on? Any suggestions on how I can get rid of
this? (I tried going out and then back in Excel without success.)

Try changing your Zoom setting a couple of points up or down.
