Default VLOOKUP

I'm retrieving a text field using the vlookup function. The formula works but
it does not display all the characters of the text. How can I fix the
problem? Does the vlookup have any limitation? Please, help!

Default VLOOKUP

--Suggest you to post the formula. Is the text more than 255 characters..

--Check out the exact column number you are referring to..If you want to
return the second column in Range B:J the 3rd argument of VLOOKUP is to be
mentioned as 2 which is column C

Default VLOOKUP

If you're retrieving a value from a closed file, then that's how excel works.

If you want to see the complete string, open the "sending" file.
