Dropped zeros when merging
I'm using Excel data to merge into a Word document. I have class years such
as 02, 04 that need to be printed in the merge but the zeros are being dropped. I've tried formatting several different ways but no success. Any ideas? Thanks! |

With Word & Excel XP, I have no problem merging 02 & 04 so long as the values
reside in cells formatted as text. If the cells contain the numbers 2 and 4, formatted to APPEAR as 02 & 04, then you get only the cells' contents - 2 and 4 So - format your cells as Text, and enter the values as 02, 04, etc "Kim" wrote: I'm using Excel data to merge into a Word document.
