Linking workbooks together
I am trying to link two workbooks. In the destination workbook, I used the =
and then clicked on the cell in the source workbook, but the destination workbook cell just shows the =. It appears that it does not recognize the other workbook. I have tried it on several existing workbooks, and even created new ones, but the same thing happens. I am able to use the = to link between sheets of the same workbook and cells to cells in the same worksheets, but not from workbook to workbook-FRUSTRATING!!!! Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!! |

Linking workbooks together
Open the workbooks within the same instance of Excel. In other words, open
first document, and then within that XL, open your second document. You can now use your descirbed method of linking the workbooks. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "IHSmw" wrote: I am trying to link two workbooks.
