Default Screen wrapping issue

On protected sheets within files, my cursor wraps around the sheet. In other
words, if it's in cell A1 and I hit the left arrow, it moves to cell IV1 (in
excel 2003). Is there a way of turning this off? Thank you.

This is normal behaviour on protected sheets.

Hitting the left arrow key moves you to the next unprotected
cell................which in your case is IV1

You will have to re-map your protected/unprotected cells.
