Just trying to enter 5/5 into a cell. But automatically changes to 5-may.
How do I sto that? |

put an apostrophe in front '05/05 or format the cell as a date.

Either pre-format the cell as TEXT or, precede the entry with an apostrophe

Try entering an inverted comma before the fraction.

Doesn't that display as 39938/1 rather than 5/5 ?

Thanks David.. I mean to say preformat the cells. But still it would display
