Default Formula in Pivot Table Filter?

Does anyone know if you can use a formula in a pivot table filter? I would
very much like to do something like =Year(Today()). I know I can set the
field to be the current year but then at the change of each year you have to
modify the file. I would like to automate the filter - set it and forget it.

Basically I am pulling data from an SSAS Cube which has a dimension
containing an integer column storing year. If I set the Type in the SSAS
dimension to Time then I get the Date Filter in Excel. Otherwise it would
show as a label filter. The Date filter is not working when I pick "This
Year". It appears it is expecting a full date. So Date Filter is useless to
me, Label and Value filters are of no help because I can not seem to use a
formula. Any ideas on this?
