Default How do I resolve sharing violations for users in MS2007?

I have a protected shared document used by users who have both MS2003 and
MS2007. Recently some users were upgraded to 2007 and now they receive an
error when trying to updated the shared document. The error says that there
is a sharing violation and will not allow them to save their changes. The
users who are still working in MS2003 does not have any problems. Please
assist
