Default When opening existing doc why do I have to click twice to open?

Whenever opening an existing document in Excel 2007 a blank screen comes up
and I have to click on the expand/minimize button twice in order for the
document to open.

I'm having this problem, too. It's a pain.

Enable one of the Excel Addins,like Solver.
