Restrict choices in one drop down list by response to another
Greetings: I have a spreadsheet form with four cells that have data
validation in the form of drop down lists. The lists reside on another tab within the same workbook. I would like to be able to restrict the 2nd list to specific choices based on the response to the 1st list. In other words, if someone chooses Product A in the 1st cell, they would only see choices in the 2nd cell that are appropriate to Product A. Same for Product B, etc. Then, of course, I'd like to further restrict the 3rd list by the response to the 2nd, and the 4th by the 3rd. Can this be done without Visual Basic (which I know nothing about)? If so, how would I go about it? Thank you, bernie |
