timesheet

I use this formula at F5 to calculate hours worked etc:
=IF(OR(D5="A/L",D5="SICK"),8,IF(D5="","0",((E5-D5)+(E5<D5))*24)-0.5)

How do i get a nil or blank result if there's no hours worked that day
(currently i get a -0.5)
