Default Excel in Office 2000 Premium

I have Office 2000 Premium on my PC.
When I go to open any Exel spreadsheet it opens them all with Interenet
Explorer not with the software from the Office Premium suite.
How do I get the spreadsheets open with the correct software?

Thank you,
Mo

I'd try re-registering excel:

Close Excel and
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /regserver

The /regserver stuff resets some of the windows registry to excel's factory
defaults.
