Default Hiding Header Columns abc... in 2007

Is there a way to hide the header columns ABC etc but not hide the rows 123
etc?
In excel options, advanced, display for this wksheet, the check box is for
both rows and column headers but not for one or the other.

Hi Debbiejj

You must hide both and add the numbers in column A and use Window Freeze Panes so column A is always visible

You can add a formula like this in column A
=Row()
