Yes I see that, hit the key, but it still does it. I will click in one cell
and two or three cells highlight up.

it buts a line around the two cells instead of the one cell you want to work
on. Does this make sense?

the scroll lock does not work...when i click on one cell it buts a line
around at least two to three cells. when I type in the one cell it will type
into it, put to copy and paste it's a disaster because it will paste into the
two or three cells. Does this make sense?

If using Excel 2007 try setting your Zoom level up or down a couple of
percent.

Especially if in Page Layout view.

Ok, as of right now that did work. What actually casues that?
I have another problem...I have 3 columns full of information, now I go to
my next page and the last entry carries to the first line on every page. You
can't click on it to get rid of it, not sure what it is. Help!

What do you mean by 'page'? in Excel that term is used only for the paper
that comes out of the printer
