Doesn't Excel 2003 have a histogram with cells, and a curve fitting

Hi,
Yes, but you need the ATP attached - choose Tools, Add-ins, and check the Analysis ToolPak. Now choose Tools, Data Analysis, Histogram... -- If this helps, please click the Yes button. I had Analysis Tool Pak checked, but see no Data Analysis, Histogram under Tools. Right now Add-in shows that I have plain old Analysis ToolPak in the grey area below the check boxes. At some point I had both it and Analysis ToolPak (VBA) checked, and that caused an error. In fact, the error is repeatable each time I try to add the VBA pak, and I get a msg about sending error info to MS. Basically, it seems (It may have been caused by an attempt to use import with a "bad" file before I got around to trying Add-ins.) to have produced the msg "This file is not in a recognizable format." That msg ends up greeting me each time I fire up Excel now. Cancel restores order until I try to fire up Excel again. My last go round with VBA left FUNCRES.xla in document recovery, and somewhere along the line produced the msg Exel4Macro of Object _Global failed. I just clicked on FUNCRES in the Doc Recovery pane on the left, and it puts up a menu with repairs. Clicking that show it is a not recognizable format. I just closed the pane. Closing and opening Excel again produces the "not recognizable format" msg. Cancel gets me by it to Book1. Ugh. -- W. eWatson (121.015 Deg. W, 39.262 Deg. Well, this seems to be going nowhere fast. I think it's possible to
selectively remove Excel and re-install it. -- W. eWatson (121.015 Deg. W, 39.262 Deg. N) GMT-8 hr std. time) Obz Site: 39° 15' 7" N, 121° 2' 32" W, 2700 feet Web Page: <www.speckledwithstars.net/ |
