Hold conditional formatting when sorting filtered data
I have a massive table of data that is correctly conditionally formatted. I
now want to be able to filter and sort that data and have Excel keep the original conditional formatting associated with the data (move with the original rows for example). Right now, conditional formatting locks to specific cells and when the data changes after a sort of filtered data (say sort by lowest to highest) the conditional formatting stays in the original cells and associates itself with the newly sorted data, rather than moving with original data as I need it to. Please advise, any assistance is greatly appreciated. |
