Microsoft has removed supported for some file types...
DBF 2 (dBASE II) cannot be opened or saved in Excel 2007. DBF 3 (dBASE III) & DBF 4 (dBASE IV) formats may be opened, but not saved to in Excel 2007. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/pr...633871033.aspx If this post helps click Yes --------------- Jacob Skaria "M.K" wrote: hi all, Please help me, i want to save file in db type and when i press save as in excel 2007 there is no DB format BR |

As noted by Jacob, Excel 2007 no longer saves in that format. IF you have
Office Professional with MSFT Access, you can export your data from Excel into a .CSV file, then import it into Access, and use Access to export to DB type. Alternative to this is to open Access and import the sheet's data directly into Access from the Excel file and then export to DB format.
