I have received an old spreadsheet built awhile ago. There is a hidden
formula and I can't figure out how it gets there.

Example. if I punch a number in F8 the H8 appears with =D8-F8. it is not
protected or hidden and no conditional formatting that I can see.

its driving me crazy! :)

Hi,
check if there is not a formula in the tab, right click on the mouse in the
tab name, view code

I am viewing the code but not familiar with this. what am I looking for to
see if there is a formula?

there is nothing in the main screen but on the left there is one True, enable
calculation

Ok,
so let's start over, to understand before you punch a number in F8, there is
no formula in H8, but when you punch a number the formula shows up, ??
