Default Max index / match question

TRY:

Code:
--------------------
=INDEX($C$1:$C$5,MATCH(MAX(IF($B$1:$B$5=$D$1,$A$1: $A$5)),$A$1:$A$5,0))
--------------------

Confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER not just ENTER....

If you adjust the ranges, you will need to reconfirm with CSE keys....
