Default Multiple Consolidation Ranges

Hi

I have found out how to create a normal pivot table from multiple ranges,
by using MS Query to join the data. One sample file contains the pivot table,
the other contains the source data tables at
http://www.contextures.com/excelfiles.html

Instead of using two files can I using only one file with the source data
tables being in different sheets? I have tried it does not seem to work.

Thanks in advance.

What happened when you tried it?
