Default Excel 2007 Custom View Inactive?

Got it. I think it was because my sheet was protected.
Thanks anyway.

Hi,

Back again - one thing that will prevent the availability of this feature is
if you are in group mode - that means more than one sheet is selected. To
ungroup right click a sheet tab and choose Ungroup...

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

I recently upgraded to 2007, and can't add custom views b/c the icon is
inactive. Any idea why? Does it auto-activate only in certain situations?

... is there any way to find out how to activate features on the office 2007
ribbons (for example, it would be nice if you could get a tool tip on
inactive icons that tells "where" in the file you need to be to activate it)?
