Default search option for linked data

Hi,

When i have a cell with data which is linked from another sheet, then it
gives for example xy78 in the cell, while the link is: sheet1!$A$1 or
something.

Then when i search for "xy78" with control F Excel does not give a match. Is
it possible to get a match in this case? And if so, is it also possible to
use the "xy78" in a new lookup function for another cell?!

I hope someone can give me the answer.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,
Marieke

On "Find & Replace" window click on option the window will expand then click
on "Lookin" and select "values" and finaly click on "Find Next" button.

You can use xy78 or cell address for lookup function
