I have a large file of 200,000 lines items. I am trying to copy 26,000
filtered items to another spreadsheet. I cannot copy and paste the visible lines. Get "too complex". I've followed the copy and paste rules and still don't work. Only option I have is to copy small selections and then paste. But I shouldn't have to do that. Anybody have a suggestion or solution? -- Chel294 |

Maybe as follows:
Save the workbook with another name In the second workbook, sort the worksheet using the same rules as the filer Delete unwanted row best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "CHEL294" wrote in message ... Bernard,
Thank you very much. I just spoke with another Excel User and that is what they recommended. Basically, the same problem, either copy and paste, or delete, in small increments. I was told the problem isn't the number of rows, but the number of non-contiguous rows. If the selected parts could be arranged to the top, then it would work. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get them there. I am stuck with copy and pasting small amounts. Thank you very much for your time and suggestion.
