Default adding subtotals to excel

I am looking for the Tools Group so I can convert to Range...How do I turn on
the Tools Group?

Hi,

The best way to add subtotals is to use a pivot table - Data, PivotTable ....

However, the quick and dirty way is to choose Data, Subtotal...
