Default Updating a cell without changes being tracked.

I own a shared workbook that is used by many. I have used the track changes
function to investigate changes to a cell by going back a decent amount of
time but no details highlight who made the changes. Is it possible that
someone can make updates to a cell without their changes being tracked? Is
there any way I can find out who made the changes?
Any help would be great.
Cheers,
Champ
