lI'm using Microsoft XP. In Excel, I'm trying to sort, but I get a message
box that says."This operation requires the merged cells to be identically sized." I have merged cells within the rows, but not in the columns (and I'm sorting by rows). |

Hi,
Highlight the whole sheet and press Merge, then sort it. You are sorting by rows however one of them is using two columns that is the reason why you get that message, if this helps please click yes, thanks "Skinny in the footlhills" wrote: lI'm using Microsoft XP.
