Default Address toolbar will show only one file

With multiple excel files open the address toolbar will only show one of
these. It used to show all open files until I downloaded an Office update
recommended by Microsoft after I sent off an error report for an Excel bug.

Assuming you mean "taskbar" and not "toolbar".........

ToolsOptionsView. Check "Windows in Taskbar".

Gord,

Thanks for your reply, this works after I have opened all files but how do I
get Excel to do this without having to go in and check "Windows in Taskbar"
every time.

The setting should stick unless you are running Office 2000........

This is a bug with shared workbooks in Office 2000 and it seems there never
was a fix for it.

Excel 2002 has corrected the bug.

A suggested workaround by Dave Peterson.

Maybe you could use a workbook that checks this setting each time it could get
changed:
