Can footnotes be created for an excel spreadsheet. While it is in Excel. Not

For each MS Excel cell you can have a 'comment'; Try right click and Add comment to a a cell. Jacob that would be one way of doing it; however, I was thinking about using
symbols and placing it at the bottom just like a journal. Robin, try Custom footer in File--PageSetup--Header/Footer--
