Default 2007 to 2003 chart conversions just nor cutting it

Are there any know fixes to conversion and compatability from 2007 back to
2003. I hav e yet to get an 2007 Excel generated graph to be openeed in
Excel 2003 without major formatting retention issues. Even printing to PDF
from Excel 2007 loses some of the formatting and elements in the graph.
Running current SP on the Excel 2007 machine.
