I'm trying to make a conditional formatting rule in Excel 2007 that makes a
row of several cells where one cell contains the text "Yes" to be formatted to have strike-through active. Can anyone explain to me how to do this? |

Hi,
Highlight the cells you want to condition. Click on Conditional Formatting icon in the styles area. Click on New Rule. In the Select a Rule Type: area choose €śUse a formula to determine which cells to format€ť. When the Date is in say cell A1 write the following formula in the Format values where this formula is true: =$A$1=€ťYes€ť then click on format and then strikethrough in the effects area. Click OK twice. -- Regards Warren Excel Novice Addiewell, Scotland. If this helps please click the Yes button.
