In order to set up your Import properly, I suggest that you enter one of
the birthdays manually into Outlook Calendar, THEN Export the week that contains it to a CSV file. Open that file and use it as an example to configure your Birthday file from. Then Import the properly configured file. jravens wrote: How do I map the custom fields? I dragged the value over to Start Date, but the OK on the bottom of the screen stays greyed out. "srd" wrote: yes, it does work. the year is tricky though. you may have to play with that a little bit. -- Stacy MCDST "jravens" wrote: I think I'm missing a step. I defined the names in the spreadsheet (name and birthday). When I get to the step to import, I'm not sure what to do. Would I drag Birthday to Start Date and Name to Subject? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. "srd" wrote: Yes, this is possible. Use the import function in Outlook. Try to import as an excel document first. If that doesn't work, save the document as tab separated (delimited) and retry. It worked for me. -- Stacy MCDST "jravens" wrote: I have a list of birthdays in Excel that I would like to transfer to someone's Outlook calendar. Is this possible? |
