When I create a small one page speadsheet in Excel 2007, and print it, it
prints fine - all on one page. However, if I save this document as a PDF file, the last column gets clipped and put onto a second page. The print area is set to include the entire worksheet. The PDF processor is that downloaded from the MS site for Office 2007. Is there any way of producing the PDF file so that it will fit onto only one page, in a similar manner as saving and printing from Excel? I cannot find any PDF options to fit to page. The document in question can be seen on my skydrive at: http://cid-8f2c74bf2c0b9544.skydrive...0Mar%2007.xlsx |

Hi Jack
Do you have the same problem if you use IgnorePrintAreas:=False in the code examples here http://www.rondebruin.nl/pdf.htm -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl/tips.htm "Jack_Sprat" wrote in message ... Click on View and then on 'Page Break Preview'...
You will see that print area includes column W also... drag the right corner back to Col V and your problem should be fixed. In print you must be getting a blank page... you can test by putting anything in Col W and then printing.. -- Pl click the ''''Yes'''' button (if you see it - don''''t worry if you don''''t), if this answer was helpful. Thanks for the reply.. I had wanted to have some white space on each side of
the page, therefore added blank columns A and W. The PDF problem was fixed by reducing the A and W columns by half. Now it saves correctly as PDF. btw.. printing the document worked fine.. no extra blank page. That's what was making it so weird to me.. printing worked fine, but not saving as PDF. Anyway, it is now working correctly. Thanks! "Sheeloo" wrote: Click on View and then on 'Page Break Preview'... Glad it worked out...
Pages printed on different printers come out slightly different especially margins. On my printer Col W was printing on the second page... "Jack_Sprat" wrote: Thanks for the reply..
