Nevermind. I'm an idiot! Figured out it was in shared workbook mode. Turned
it off and all is well. Sorry and thanks! "Sherri" wrote: Using Excel 2003. I've received a spreadsheet from another company and need to delete most of the tabs for our use. I know this is simple in theory but I'm baffled. There is some sort of protection on this workbook that I can't find and it prevents me from being able to make changes such as deleting sheets. I can make changes within the sheets to cells, formatting, etc. There are many other options that are hidden from me though: conditional formatting; insert chart, symbol, diagram, etc.; subtotals; pivot charts; and so on. I've run a macro to remove all protection and passwords and it returns that there is no protection or password within the workbook. Any ideas??? I know i'm missing a simple setting somewhere... Thanks. |
