Did you disable any antimalware software while you were reinstalling?

Ok. after fumbling around. I doubled clicked an uneeded file, opened it up by
selecting from the another browse button "program files" selecting "office" then excel. It restored all files. (this wasn't available thru initial options - just the "convert" and xml editor). I'm sorry, Iam at work and it was not a good thing. I feel better now. Thanks anyway Bob. :) "rhonda" wrote: I've tried this. It needs a missing file from cd or network which it doesn't find. Glad you have what you need for the immediate problem, but it sounds
like there are other issues with this particular installation. If this is a work PC, is there tech support there? rhonda wrote: Ok. after fumbling around. Yes. It is a work pc but it is a very small co. whereas I am more technically
inclined than our person. Office was installed with a disc that they cant find. But I found this question with alot of online groups. (installing and reinstalling office 03). the .cab files are not found when running repair or reinstalling.
