How does pivot table still work after deleting DSN?
How is excel storing connection information?
If it is using an external DSN, how is it I can send the xls to someone who doesn't have the DSN and it works. If it is not using a DSN, why is it that the wizard prompts you to choose or create one? |

How does pivot table still work after deleting DSN?
In order to refresh the data you would need the DSN in order to get new info
