Default macro

Hi

A newbie to macro & VBA.

1) What is the difference between the 'Visual Basic for Applications' &
'Visual Basic programming language'?

2) I understand the macro is available in most of the MS applications, but
what are the advantages/purpose of using it?

3) Are they any good websites that teach Macro?

Thank you
