Changing file Extension
This has got to be a neophytic question, but I remember when I
used to be able to right click and change the file extension. How do I change the extension now once it is already saved with Excel WITHOUT opening it? |
Changing file Extension
Use this to view the extensions, but remember that if you change the extension in possible that you can't open the file anymore.
1: Open Windows Explorer 2: Win XP : Click on ToolsFolder Options 2: Vista : Click on OrganizeFolder and Search Options 3: On the View tab uncheck or check €œHide extensions for known file types" -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl/tips.htm "Heidi" wrote in message ...
