Default How do you get rid of a 'automatic subtotals' format problem?

I had a table and used the automatic subtotal to the table. It re-arranged
the table so I tried to remove it. But now that I have removed it (I clicked
the "Remove All" button on the subtotal dialogue box), the table looks
different. It used to alternate between blue and grey. Now there are blocks
of grey and blue. Even when I arrange the records the colors are still not
alternating. Is there a way to clear this formatting issue?
