Office:Mac Excel
when entering a number in a cell, say 5, it appears as 0.05?
The number seems to dived by 100 for some reason. I have tried formating cells, worksheets etc.. but cannot solve this problem? can anyone help solve this weird problem? |

Tools - Options - Edit and uncheck 'Fixed decimals' -- Regards Frank Kabel Frankfurt, Germany "Jessie" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... when entering a number in a cell, say 5, it appears as 0.05? If it is Office/Excel 2004 for Mac it would be under

I have been using excel in mac for 18 months and this problem came about only recently. I do not know how the preferences got changed? Have a Happy Christmas and New Year!!!!!
