Default TOTALING VALUES IN A COLUMN

I have a database that has two columns:

1. Names of children
2. The language the child speaks at home

I would like to set up a query that returns the TOTAL number of children
that speak EACH language.

How could that be done?

place cursor in first cellDataPivot TableFinish
On the PT skeleton that appear on the new page,
Drag Language from field list to Row Area
Drag Language again to the Data area
