Default data entered - cell position jumps to 1 page down

I know it is basic, but I can't seem to find out what I have mis-set in Excel
2003. Is it a cut and paste isue?
Any time I try to enter data in a cell, it does not accept it and jumps a
page down. Please send me an idea on how to take this feature off.

Thanks if anyone can help!

You say "can't". Do you get any message?

All cells or just a particular cell?

One sheet in one workbook? Or all sheets?

All workbooks or just one?

After the jump what happens? Is the data entered in the jumped-to cell?

I would right-click on the sheet tab and "View Code".

Any event code in there that would do the trick?
