Default Excel Price List

I have one data sheet and another that I am using for my price list. My
price list is very boring and I want to add color and stuff. I tried copying
and pasting into work and other applications so that I could work on a better
looking price sheet but all adds more issues. Any suggestions would be
great. The only thing I can do in Excel seems to be borders and other basic
stuff. I wish I could put a picture behind the figures of my company logo or
something.

Well, you can put color to your worksheet as a whole or to individual cells
1.Select range of cells that you want to render with particular color
2.Right click on the selected range and from the pop up select format cells
3.From the dialog box select pattern tab and choose your color

Further, if you want to put picture behind the figures then,
1.From menu bar select insertpicturefrom file
2.Choose picture from the PC drive .
3.You will see the picture on your sheet that you can resize and format as you want

You can do a wide range of formatting in Excel that is entirely up to you.
Its very hard for us to give you much help. But consider bolding Titles or
making Totals Italic.

You can add a company logo if you are using Excel 2002 or 2003 as follows:

1. In a graphics program make your company logo on a sheet that is the same
size as a regular sheet of paper. Make it very light. save and close

2. In Excel choose File, Page Setup, Headers/Footers tab, Custom Header,
click in the Left section and click the insert picture button, second from
the right, locate the picture you made in step 1.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.
