Default Scrolling through document when protected

When my worksheet is protected I am unable to scroll to the end of the sheet
without it returning (looping) to the next row in column A. This looping
unsure if that is the correct term does not happen when the sheet is
unprotected.

Can't get a picture in my mind of what you are stating.

How are you scrolling?

Using vertical scrollbar? Horizontal scrollbar?

More info please on above and also which cells are locked or unlocked on the
protected sheet.
