Default Finding matching cells

COL A has 1,313 cells whose contents look like this:

107211009-1
114650003-4
122413021-6

COL B has 987,601 cells whose contents look like this:

008100465-2 01 58.86
008100465-2 02 58.86
008100493-7 01 16.12

How do I find the cell(s) in COL B whose eleven left-most characters
match the contents in the cells in COL A?

Enter this in D1
(I am assuming that A1 has 107211009-1, B1 has 008100465-2 01 and C1 has
58.86. Row 2-100 have similar data...

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(LEFT(B1,11),A:A,1,FALSE)),"Not in Col A","Found in Col
A")--------
If this is what you wanted then press the ''''YES'''' button (if you see it)
