Just copy like normal but when you go to paste right click and paste special
and then select values. "japram" wrote: how can copy data from a cell which contains formula. i need the actual value of the cell .pls help |

Hi,
Here is one other trick: Suppose the formula is in A1 with B1 empty. Select cell B1 and press Shfit+Ctrl+" This copies the value of the cell above without the formula. Depending on where you want to copy the contents: Highlight the formula on the Formula Bar and press F9, then Copy. Press Esc and move to the destination and press Paste. (This is particularly useful when you want to copy and paste the value to another application such a Word, or into a formula in Excel.) -- If this helps, please click the Yes button. Cheers, Shane Devenshire "japram" wrote: how can copy data from a cell which contains formula. i need the actual value of the cell .pls help |
