Chart links with mail merge
I have a word document containing mail merge fields using data from an Excel
spreadsheet - this works fine. I also have some charts in the spreadsheet which I'd like to link to the Word document. I've used the Paste-Link command and these update automatically as required. However, when I close the Word Document and re-open it, the chart links are lost and the charts now behave as though they are pictures. How can I stop this happening? Do I need to insert the charts in a similar way to the other mail merge fields? Any help will be gratefully received!! |
