I probably have ten temp files for each actual file. Is there an easy way to

What determines that they are temp files, did you just save many versions of
the same file or are these .tmp files created by Excel? Generally, you just select all the files you want to delete and click the Delete button or press Del key. This can be done from the Open, or Save dialog boxes or from the Windows Explorer. Windows also has a Disk Cleanup command which will search and ask you if you want to delete temp files. This might help. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "cs103" wrote: I probably have ten temp files for each actual file. In Windows Explorer, sort files by file type. Click on the first temp file,
shift-click on the last one. Now all your temp files are selected. Right-click, choose delete, reply yes. Regards, Fred. "cs103" wrote in message ... I probably have ten temp files for each actual file. Is there an easy way to get rid of all the temps? |
