For some reason when I save a macro enabled workbook *.xlsm as a web page,
all my formatting goes out the window. If I instead save the .xlsm as an ..xlsx first and then save the .xlsx as a web page then my formatting is preserved. I would really like to use only the .xlsm if at all possible. The reason why is I upload both the web page and a copy of the original .xlsm so that my users can download it for view on their own machines. Another issue with doing this is when I do upload the .xlsm to the server and someone downloads it, the server renames the file to a .zip. My users don't know to rename it back to .xlsm, instead they attempt to extract the ..zip and they end up getting all the xml code behind the .xlsm. |
