Just ignore the error**. Your posting will get through. But you need to check
for responses to your query by coming back to the MS webpages. Believe the
auto-email notification feature is not working as well.

**It seems to be a sys glitch of the MS web interface.
Since last couple of days. Still unresolved to-date.

Hi Max,

It also appears that Editing ones Profile is also not working from the Web
interface.

Avoid the Microsoft web interface to the newsgroup. It is flaky at the best
of times, and currently broken.

Either access the newsgroup
(news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.excel.misc) directly through a
newsreader (such as using OE http://support.microsoft.com/kb/171190),
or use the Google archive
http://groups.google.co.uk/group/mic...ic.excel.misc/
