Default how do I change document order when opening in excel 2007?

Sometimes I don't know the name of a file, but I know the approximate date
that I saved it. When I try to open files from "My Documents", they are
always listed alphabetically. In Excel 2000, I could arrange them by date and
find them.

When you try to open a file, the files are listed using the view last used.

In the Open Dialog box you can change the way files are listed by clicking
on the down arrow at the top-right of the window.
